Although I LOVE capturing portraits of people, I’ve also had a growing interest in landscape photography. I love the idea of adventuring into the wilderness to capture a masterpiece out of various combinations of the earth and sky. Living in the flat lands of Lubbock often makes it challenging to experiment with different forms of landscape photography. That’s why I was so glad to take this little day trip to Caprock Canyons, just two hours north of Lubbock! We had a great time hiking through canyon riverbeds and climbing to the top of the bright red plateaus often captured in the old western films. I’m so glad I brought the camera along, and it’s safe to say I’m addicted! Now… where to next??
