Words cannot express how special this family is to me!! I’ve known Bob and Sonya since birth, and they have always been considered “Aunt Sonya” and “Uncle Bob” to my siblings and me. My time with the Tickel family has been less frequent since my family’s move to Texas – but every time I do see them, I feel like we easily pick up where we last left off :)
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful family for the first time while visiting my hometown of Columbus, Indiana. I had so much fun revisiting the magical places of my childhood, and the time spent with old family friends will always be a treasure to me. Bob, Sonya, and Lillie are such a refreshing family to be around, and I love how they don’t take themselves too seriously (if you need proof, just check out the pictures!).
