CIAO, I'M LAUREN
For over a decade, I used the inspiration of my home in Texas to craft stories through photography, framing people in the magic of its rugged beauty and wide open spaces. But, as always, life has a way of changing...
Since then, I've made a new home for myself in the buzzing city of Milan, Italy. My backdrop has shifted from plains to palaces, yet my approach to storytelling remains the same.
I believe the best photographs aren’t just taken, they’re felt. Whether it’s the warmth of a smile or the quiet intimacy of a moment, I aim to capture not just appearances, but the essence of a person's being. My work is rooted in precision and artistry, but it’s the connection with the subject and the moment that makes the images feel real.
Using a blend of both digital and vintage analog film, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing stories across the world. With every experience, I've learned that the best images always come from the heart ♥︎
